About the Role In this pivotal role, you will lead the strategic and operational delivery of our property services, ensuring homes are maintained to a high standard and meet the needs of our residents now and into the future. You will oversee: Repairs and voids service – ensuring efficient turnaround and a responsive, customer-focused approach. Elevate Projects are working in partnership with our client, a local provider of affordable housing and registered social landlord, to appoint an experienced Building Surveyor to the buy Planned Maintenance team on a contract basis. Working closely with asset managers, contractors, and stakeholders, you will be instrumental in ensuring that properties remain safe, compliant, and fit for purpose. Key Responsibilities: Undertake condition surveys and produce detailed reports on property assets Develop and manage planned maintenance schedules, ensuring long-term asset integrity Prepare specifications, scopes of work, and cost estimates for maintenance works Oversee the procurement and delivery of maintenance projects, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and health & safety standards Provide technical advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders Contribute to asset management strategies and life-cycle planning

The successful candidate will conduct stock condition, and HHSRS (Housing Health & Safety Rating System) surveys across a range of properties. Key Responsibilities Carry out stock condition surveys to assess the overall state of properties. Perform HHSRS assessments to identify potential hazards in line with housing regulations. Record findings accurately using mobile survey software. Provide recommendations for maintenance, improvement, and compliance. Requirements Proven experience in conducting Stock Condition surveys. Strong knowledge of housing standards, regulations. Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. Access to own transport (required for site visits).

The Role We are seeking a skilled Damp, Mould, Repairs Surveyor to join our clients property team on a temporary basis. You will play a crucial role in identifying and assessing damp and mould issues across the housing stock, ensuring effective solutions are implemented promptly to maintain high living standards for tenants. Key Responsibilities Conduct property inspections to assess damp, mould, and disrepair issues, providing detailed reports and recommendations. Liaise with tenants, contractors, and internal teams to arrange remedial works efficiently. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and housing standards. Work collaboratively with the maintenance and housing management teams to identify recurring issues and develop long-term solutions. Provide expert advice and guidance on damp, mould, and repair concerns to tenants and colleagues. Maintain accurate records and documentation using housing management systems. About You To be successful in this role, you should have: Experience in surveying, maintenance, or repairs within the housing sector. Knowledge of building pathology, particularly damp and mould-related issues. Strong understanding of housing legislation and health and safety regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with tenants and contractors. The ability to work independently, manage workloads, and prioritise effectively. Elevate projects are working in partnership with our client, a small and reputable Chartered Surveying Practice specialising in Historic & Listed Buildings preservation , restoration and conservation and operating predominantly in the Cotswold's area, to appoint an experienced MRICS Chartered Surveyor to join their team. Duties will include: Building Surveys, predominantly RICS Level 3 and some Level 2. Commercial Surveys. Maintenance and dilapidations inspections, schedules, and negotiations, construction design and management for a range of commercial, residential and heritage projects. Essential requirements: MRICS qualification and 5 + years of experience. Full driver's licence and own vehicle. Be an organised and reliable team member. Have a working knowledge of planning and heritage legislation and Building Regulations. Onsite experience, project management & contract administration (JCT suite). Practice management experience will be an advantage.
Elevate Projects are working in partnership with our client, a small but growing London based Private Building Surveying Consultancy , to appoint the latest addition to their team. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Building Surveyor. As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for inspecting and assessing the condition of buildings, identifying defects, and providing professional advice on maintenance, renovation, and repair works. You will also play a key role in preparing reports and specifications and ensuring compliance with building regulations and industry standards. Experience & Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge and experience in building inspection (L2 & L3 surveys), defect diagnosis, and building pathology General understanding of building regulations, construction methods, and materials Excellent communication and report writing skills Ability to work independently Proficiency in relevant software and tools Membership in a professional organization, such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), is a plus, ideally someone with AssocRICS accreditation. Expectations Ability to conduct Level 2 (Home Buyer) and Level 3 (Building Surveys) Professional and friendly approach and able to communicate effectively IT literate (work from mobile device)
